Colored diamonds contain what is called interstitial impurities or structural defects that cause the coloration. This does not mean that they are not valuable. There is only 1 in every 10,000 natural diamonds that has a natural color. For this reason there will never be two colored diamonds that will be alike.
Some colored diamonds are man-made. In the lab, they have come up with a 27 color span for colored diamond. Also, a modifying color combination can also be added for diamonds that do not have the purest of hues.
Colored diamonds come in many colors, clarities, shapes and sizes. Let the professionals at Danwerke
tell you more.
